Sarah Palin – The Great Republican HOAX
Posted by kenyatta on October 16, 2008
Sarah Palin reminds me of Ellie Mae from the 1970s sitcom “The Beverly Hillbillies.” She was a backwoods, down home, ignorant-of-the-world, animal loving, gun carrying beauty thrown into a world to which she did not properly adjust. That’s what the republicans and McCain wants everyone to think of Sarah Palin.
But it’s a hoax.
Where Ellie Mae was harmless and funny, Sarah Palin is dangerous and anything but funny. She was chosen by the republican party machinery to play the acting role of her life. In fact, she is playing the best political acting role since Ronald Reagan!
Think I’m just spouting off? Consider this:
During the vice-presidential debates, Palin acted as if she was ignorant of the issues. She winked and said “gosh darn” a countless number of times. She ignored the questions and repeated the same answer for each question. She was the perfect political Ellie Mae.
But I assure you that this is not the real Sarah Palin. The real Sarah Palin is smart, savvy, ambitious and extremely dangerous. She is not being groomed for the vice presidential position but for the Presidency. Her role is not to speak on the issues but to be symbolic. (More on this here)
The two videos below say it best. Take a look at Sarah Palin during the Alaskan governor’s debate where she is posed, thoughtful, informed and intelligent. There is no winking at the audience and her speech is not garnished with any “gosh darns.” Tell me if this is the same woman that America has come to know.
Warning: If you really like Mrs. Palin, you’re about to be shocked. What happened to her Ellie Mae character here, I wonder?
Here she is again during the Alaskan debate:

I agree with what you said, but I don’t think she’s all that intelligent about things outside Alaska. She seems to have absolutely no intellectual curiosity. I do believe that this folksiness was an act and I agree that she is exceedingly ambitious and a dangerous person.
