About Kamau Kenyatta
I am the author of two books: The Confessions of A College Professor: Insider Secrets To Making Top Grades In All Your Classes and The Truth About Black Hairstyles: The Whole Story Revealed . I’m also a college professor of African-World Studies at William Paterson University in New Jersey.
The topics I’ll cover here will be many and varied. Bottom line is I’ll write about whatever is on my mind at any given time. They will consist of political, economic and social items relative to the USA and the world. My world view is Afrocentric and will be reflected in these postings.
Sidebar: I will talk about racial issues but don’t confuse that with racism or hate speech.

Are you also a musician? By the way, I read a February, 2009 post about the foreclosures. One thing I would like to add is that it is very important for those of us who have the knowledge and skills to work to inform unsuspecting members of our communities about the predatory practices of big businesses like the mortgage and payday loan industries. That’s why I started a blog about another predatory industry–the casino industry. It’s just as bad as the lending industries that we are complaining loudly about, but what casinos are doing to our communities remain under-reported. My blog is titled “A Black Woman’s Reflections on Casino Gambling.” I’m at http://www.saadell.wordpress.com.
